THREATENED ATTACK ON MR. TAFT.
DEMOCRATS CHANGE THEIR MINDS. (Received April 20, 9.5 a.m.) WASHINGTON, 19th April. Congress is not likely to intervene with regard to Mexico. The Democrats have abandoned the threatened attack on President Ta-ft's action in despatching troops to the Mexican frontier. Resolutions will be proposed in the House of Representatives asking the Foreign Affairs Committee to investigate the situation, with special reference to frontier happenings. LANDING OF BRITISH BLUEJACKETS.
