The Earl of Crowe's son was christened in the Chapel Royal, St. Janjes!e. The King and Lord Rosebery, <i£ j sponsors, signed the register. [The Earl of Crewe was twice married. By his firsb wife he had three children — two girls and a boy. The latter died in infancy. In 1899, the* Earl married a daughter of Lord Roaebery, and the arrival of an heir naturally caused much rejoicing in tho Crew© household.]
