At the annual meeting of the Pahiierston North Branch of the Farmers' Union, held on Saturday, the following officers were elected : — Chairman, Mr. J. Balsillie; vice-chairman, Mr. P. Bryant; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. Hunter ; hon. auditor, Mr. A. Grey ; committee, Messrs. J. TeiinamS, A. Gardiner, A. Buchanan, H. Barber, A. Harding, A. Mathiesoa, A. Farmer, F. Moule, J. Wingate, G. Rix, R. Moore, W. W. Wilsher, and Capt. Hewitt.. The meeting was adjourned till 6th May, when delegates and remits for the provincial conference will be dealt with.
