PETONE ROWING CLUB.

The Petone Rowing Club closed a most successful season on Saturday, when the final heat of the junior sculling handicap was decided. The event was for a trophy presented by Mr. M. J. Cauty, and the finish was a very exciting one. The contestants were J. Anan and W. Hume, and the result was a win for the former by the narrow margin of six inches.
