At the annual general meeting of the Hutt Golf Club hold on Tuesday ovenmg the following gentlemen wore elected aa officers for the current year :— Captain, Mr. J . R. Cillendor ; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. P. Murphy (rc-electad) ; committeo, Alossrs. C. G. Allan, R. C. Kirk, H. Manning, and F. Wills. The opening of tho season hus been hxed for the Ist April nexr. MIRAMAR CLUB. The annual general meeting of members of the Miramar Golf Club was held at tho Town Hall on Tuesday. There weto thirty mombers presont, and Mr. T. Brodie presided. Tho report and balance-sheet were discussed and adoptod. The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows :— Captain, Mr. J. P. Firth; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. 0. Sutton; committee, Messrs. T. Ward, M. W. Horton, C. Hay Mackenzie, and F. Stevenson. The Special Committee's report on tho proposed purchase of land was discussed at length, and it was resolved to send out a circular in order to ascertain tho » r iows of all the members on this question. It; was decided to open the season on Saturday, Bth April.
