The entiies constitute a record, and there is perfect weather, which attracted a record at- ' tendance to the local racecourse, where the show is being held. The grounds' present a gay and animated spectacle. ■ Though the- show is not intended for the exhibition of pedigree stock so much us for the display of the stock of farmers of the district, still most of the • breeds of farm animals, represented by 'good typical specimens, certainly form a, feature. The Hon. G Fowlds opened the show with, a brief speech.
