THE SUICIDE AT PAHIATUA.
[BY TELEOKAPH — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] PAHIATUA, This Day. Storey's suicide was deliberate and premeditated. He posted a letter to the police yesterday morning, explaining where his body would be found, the method of death, etc. The letter was qui,te connected and rational. He blamed gambling for his troubles, but it is well known, here that he had been drinking heavily and consistently for a long while. He was met on the bank of the river on Sunday afternoon and conversed with townsmen as to the depth of the waterhole in which his body was afterwards found.
