'A SAWMILL DESTROYED. [BY TELEGEAPH — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] j NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. Early on Friday morning a fire at Dive's sawmill, on the Mokau Biver, i destroyed 160,000 feet of sawn white j pine awaiting export to Sydney. The | insurance was £330 in the Phoenix office; the loss is about £230 above the insurance. The supposed cause of the fir© wa* a spark from the engine. A gale was blowing at the time. The mill and stacked rirnu were saved. iVICARAGE BURNED. ASHBURTON, This Day. The Anglican vicarage at Hinds, twelve miles out, was, with its contents, totally destroyed by fire at seven o'clock this morning.
