Mr. Bonar Law, Unionist, speaking at Manchester said the House of Lords would not pass the Parliament Bill until it was swamped by a creation of Peers. If so. Home Rule was the rock on which the Liberal Party would split. It would be impossible to carry such a measure by fraud, declared the speaker. If such an attempt were made, Irish Loyalist* would have the right to resist it by all means, including force, and ith« majority of the British people- would support them. [Mr. Bonar Law represented Dulwich in the last Parliament. At the elections last month he contested North-west Man- . Chester, but was defeated by Sir George Kemp (Liberal), after a spirited contest, by 445 votes.]
