CENTRAL MISSION.
"Humbugs" was the title of the address given by Rev. E. 0. Blamires, of the Central Mission, to the Wellington Brotherhood yesterday afternoon. Mr. Kershaw presided. Mr. Blamires described some humbugs that had come under his notice — people who delayed settlement of their accounts, people who never fulfilled their promises. He also referred to certain aspects of the patent medicine trade. On Sunday next, Mr. Blamires announced, Hon. G. Fowlds would speak oi his visit to South Africa. At the Central Mission meeting in. tho evening Mr. Blamires preached on tho calling of Matthew. Mrs. .Lewis sang, "My Mother's Prayer." Special services in connection with che New Zealand Reehabite Conference will be held.
