The wool sales included th© nako - clip, which realised lOd per lb, top . price, and 9£d average. STRONG YORKSHIRE COMPETI-, TION. § (Received January 26, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 25th January. There was strong Yorkshire competition at the wool sales for all good combing merinos, which had a hardening tendency. Faulties were rather irregular. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., have received the following cablegram I from their London agents, under date i 25th instant: — "Prices for fine, medium, j a»id coarse crossbred and merinos, as compared with the middle rates of last series, are from par to 5 per cent. down. Market firm."
