Frozen Meat. — River Plate sheep, light, 3 7-16 d per lb ; best Australian lambs, sgd; Australian beef, fores 2|d, hinds 3 3-16 d. Others unchanged. Rabbits dull: prices nominally unchanged. LONDON MARKETS. LONDONj 3rd December. Hemp. — The market is quiet. JanuaryMarch shipment is quoted at £22 5s per ton, e.i.f. Kauri Gum.— The stock amounts to 336 tons. Copra is quiet. South Sea in bags, No-vember-December shipment, £23 5s per ton. Cotton. — The Liverpool quotation for middling, upland American cotton, Do cember- January shipment, is 7.78 id per lb. Hides are neglected and withdrawn at nominal prices. Leather. — A trifling business passing. Wellington first dressing 17j|d, basils a penny dearer ; first Wellingtons 21^d. Rubber. — Fine hard Para rubber is quoted at 6s 2d per lb. -An Australian wheat cargo sold at 35s 9d per quarter. Tin, on the spot, £172 5s per ton.
