TELEGBAPH — SPECIAL TO THE POST.] OTAKI, This Day. Mr. A. D. Thomson, S.M., presided at the monthly meeting of the S.M. Court yesterday. The police charged Mary Gittons with procuring liquor while prohibited, and Frank Bumsey with supplying the drink. The former was convicted and discharged, but the latter was fined 40s, in default fourteen days' hard labour. In the case W. J. Culver, Inspector of Awards, against the Otaki Dairy Company, for not paying wages fortnightly, a fine of 10s was inflicted.
