COST OF OTAKI SANATORIUM.
The .cost of the Otaki Sanatorium building up to the time of the opening was. £10,257, and the land (86 acres) cost £1200. The cost each year since bas been as under :— 1907-8 : Maintenance (8 months only, including salaries), £1331 Ifl.s 3d ; additions, repairs, etc., £100; furnishings, £710. 1908-9: Maintenance, £2073 7s lid; additions, repairs, etc £720 16s 7d. 1909-10: Maintenance, £2113 9s 3d; additions, repairs, etc. (including new shelter, £374 9s 9d), £849 2s 6d. The amount of patients' fees collected since the opening till 31st March, 1910, is as under :— IBO7-8, £300 7«i 1808-9, £29i IQsj ißQatO&Jßail fc-fld.
