There is a steady stream of visitors daily to the exhibition of pictures held by the Academy o£ Arts in Whitmorestreet. Sales of the following pictures, additional to those already reported, and amounting to £155, have been effected :—: — "View from Hinds" (water colour) by M. J. Rogers, £2 10s; '"Buller Gorge" (oils), C. H. Howarth, £21; "Phlox"—a flower study (oils), Annie Anderson, £2 2s; "Fruit Market, Seville," (water colour), C. H. Worsley, £10 10s; "Mount Sefton" (water colour), C. H. Howarth, £6 6s.
