THIRD-CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP. The final for the third-class Rugby, championship played at the Athletic Park to-day between Poneke and Southern resulted in a draw, each side scoring 8 points. Poneke scored a try which was converted, and kicked a goal from a mark. Southern also scored a try which was converted, and kicked a goal from a penalty. There is a large crowd at the park to witness the Otago-Wellington match, a full report of which will appear in The Post's Sports Edition to-night.
