A NEW CONSULATE.
Senor and Senora Cesar Montero Bastamente arrived by the Athenic from London to-day. Senor Bustamente has been appointed Consul for Uruguay in Australasia, and he is likely to make his headquarters in Wellington — for a time at any rate. Senora Bustamente (nee Vicomtesse de Vargem-Alegre) is a Brazilian. She •is accompanied by her two daughters.
