The late Mr. Henry Dexter left B'tHJuo reward for the arrest and conviction of his son's murderer and £200,000 to charities. Dexter junior was murdered in September, 1903, his death being ascribed by the police as a conspiracy by lumbermen and others to kill millionaire owners of game preserves and private parks. [Mr. Dexter was founder and ex-presi-dent of the American News Company. He took a deal of practical interest in religious and philanthropic movements. For the New York Historical Society he built, at a cost of 350,000 dollars, a new home in memory of his son, Orrando Perry Dexter, assassinated in Adiroiidacks on 19th September, 1903.]
