FROZEN MEAT. By Telegraph.— Preei Association.— Copyriffht. LOISCDON, 9fch July. The Frozen Meat Trade Association's Smithfield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of not less than one hundred carcases of mutton or lamb or twenty-fivo quartars of beef of fair average quality. The quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of ,the bulk of the shipments now on the market. The prices which follow aro on an average a farthing per lb more than the value ex ship, this difference representing an average cost in expenses, handling:, conveyance, and selling the meat: — Mutton — Canterbury, light 3Jd, medium 3|d, hea-vy 3j|d ; North Island, best 3 9-16 d, ordinary 3 9-16 d Australian, light 3d, heavy 3£d; Error Plato, light 3|d, heavy 3id. Lamb— Canterbury-, light sid, medium s£d, heavy *|d; Southland, s±d; North Island, best sad, ordinary 5 l-16d ; Australian, best 4-£ d, fair 4Jd. Beef — New Zealand, fores 2|d, hinds ■ 3 5-16 d; Australian, fores 2£d, hinds 3id; River Kate, fores 2£d, hinds 3id. LONDON MARKETS. New Zealand Hemp — The market' is 'dn&, and tends downwards. Good fair, June-August shipment, is quoted at £22 5a per ton. Copra — There is a good demand, and only a small c^iaartity offering. South Sea, in bags, brings £22 5s per ton. Cotton — At Liverpool, American middling Upland cotton is quoted at 7.51^d per lb. , IVozen Rabbits — "Very scarce, especially young sorte. A good demand exists for large Victorians at 15s 6d per crate, and for young at 13s 6d to 14s 6d. Sydney 3 are nominally a shilling more. Hides and Leather— -At the hido sales, negotiated offerings were wiiJidrawn. Leather ie in insignificant supply. Basils bare declined Id per lb. First Wellingtons, 194<L (Received July 11, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 10th .July. Copper — On the spot, £5+ 7s 3d ; three months, £55 2s 6d; electrolytic, £57 15s. American stocks, 168,3861b. Tin— On the spot, £149 2s 6d; three months, £157 15s. Lead, £12 10s. Silver is quoted at 25§d per ounoe. Rubber — Kno hard Para, on spot, 10s.
