HARRIERS.

WELLINGTON CLUB. A good muster of members of the Wellington Harriers' Club ran from Karori Tea Rooms on Saturday over a course selected by J. Finn and A. P. White. After splashing through a part of the Karori stream the hares climbed the hill overlooking Kelburne, and kept to the high ground, in a southerly dire*, tion for a mile ,or two, when a turn to the left brought them out on to the Karori-road, which was followed back to the finishing post. C. Rowberry gained first place in the run in, with C. Lamberg and A. R. M'Neilly filling the places. Next Saturday a team of mnners with experience of ' crocs-country running in the Old Country will try conclusions with a team of itative-born. runners over a fivt mile course from Worser Bay. Teams will be as follows : — Britain, B. W. Curry, J. Finn, A. P. White, T. Farrington, J. M'Nie, and A. W. Muir ; New Zealand, W. Bennett, L. Salek, C. Lamberg, W. Power, L. Johnson, and C. Johnson. The first four men only in each team will count points. BROOKLYN- CLUB. fThe weekly run of ths Brooklyn Club was held from Wyait's Tea Rooms, Worser Bay, on Saturday, when there was a fair muster. L. Pearcc acted as pacemaker, the laying of paper having been dispensed with. The course was from the tearooms round the road to Seatoun, and over the brow of the hill to Breaker Bay. From this point the pack, which kept well in order throughout the run, struck out over the hills to the golf links, and luence on to the new gasometer. At this point two teams were picked by the treasurer and secretary, respectively, and a race ensued to the starting point, about two miles distant. C. Murray, who is leading for the club's aggregate, finished first, a short distance in front of Delaney, with Hodson, close up, third. The teams' race resulted in a tie, each team scoring 39 points. Next Saturday's run will be held ' from the Dominion Tearooms, Karori.
