(1.25 p.m.), 77 tona, Fisk, for Pater. July 4— Petone, s.s. (2.15 p.m.), 708 tons, Dillner, for Lyttelton. EMPIRE TRANSPORT SAILED. Cable advice has been received by the local agents for the Federal-Houlder-Shire Line that the new steamer Empire Transport left Liverpool for Anckland. direct on Saturday la6t. The vessel is due at Auckland about the 23rd August, and at Wellington about the end of August. Vessels arriving in port yesterday report heavy weather in Cook Strait. The Waimea, bound from W>st Coast to Gisborne, put into Worser Bay for shelter during the afternoon, but resumed her voyage about midnight. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND, 4th July.
