Supplies in sight, 35,250 tons; deliveries 38,108 tons; stocks on hand, 153,957 tons, afloat, 7275 tons. Tin. — On tho spot, £149 15s per ton; three months, £150 10s. Stocks on hand, 16,452 tons ; on the spot, 6173 tons ; afloat. 3913 tons, deliveries, 2839 tons. Wolfram — Quotations about 355. Rabbits — Market firm, owing to cooler weather and light arrivals. Tallow— Stocks total 5075 tons; imports, 4572; deliveries, 3014. FROZEN MEAT. (Received July 4, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, 3rd July. The Frozen Meat. Trade Association's Smithfield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of not less than one hundred carcases of mutton or lamb or twenty-five quarters of beef of fair average quality. The quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk of the shipments now on the market. The prices which follow are on an average a farthing per lb more than the value ox ship, this difference representing an average cost in expense, handling, conveyance, and selling the meat: — New Zealand mutton — Canterbury sheep, heavy, 3 7-16 d. Naw Zealand lambs — Canterbury, light 5 7-lod, medium sgd, heavy s£d. Australian sheep — Heavy 3^d, light 3£d. Australian lambs — Best 4|d, medium 4|d (none offering). River Plate sheep — Heavy 3id, light 3gd. All beef fores, 2|d : hinds, 3|d. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has received the following cablegram from its London House, under date Ist insfc. : — "Frozen Meat— Tho market for frozen mutton is depressed. Lamb has a downward tendency. Arrivals of beef are in excess of trade requirements.'
