WEST COAST BAND CONTEST.

[UI TEI.BGH.ArH. — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] GREYMOUTH, 22nd May. There was fine weather for the West Coast band contest, which concluded on Saturday evening. There was a very large attendance, and the contest was in every way a success. Results :—: — Test selection : Reefton 1, Hokitika 2, Brunner 3, Grey Battalion 4, Giey Citizens 5, Dennibton 6. Test march : Grey Battalion 1, Denniston 2, Hokitika 3, Grey Citizens 4, Brunner 5, Reefton 6. Mr. Wade, of Wanganui, who was judge, gave every satisfaction.
