LORD PLUNKET.

[BY TELEGRAPH—PBKSS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON N., This Day. His Excellency the Governor paid a farewell visit to Palmert-ton this afternoon. He was met at the railway station and driven to the Square, where he delivered a brief farewell address. He referred in kindly strain to his residence here, and the interest he felt in the town and its aims and aspirations. His Excellency was presented with an address on behalf of the residents in the town, the Mayor also delivering a short address.
