[BX lELEGBAriI— PIIKSS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHUHCH, 28th March. The insurances in connection with the fire at Messrs. Bunting and Company's business premises, as lar as are at present ascertai nable, are as follow :—: — Messrs. Bunting and Company's building, £2700 in the South British office ; contents. £2700 in the New Zealand office, £1800 in the Commercial Union, £600 in the National, £425 in the Australian Alliance, £425 iv the United, and £375 in the Standard. Messrs. M'Phail and Fisher (occupiers of one of the shops in Bunting's buildings), £270 in the National office. WANGANUI, 28th March. Messrs. Gilberd and Sons, whose •oap works were destroyed by fire on Saturday night, estimate their Joss at between £2500 and £3000 above the insurance. ASHBURTON, 28th Marcn. A seven-roomed wooden house at Doric, owned and occupied by Mr. William Morrow, with its contents, was totally destroyed by fire early on Sunday morning. FEILDING, This Day. A six-roomed cottage at Taonui, occupied by the Mabey family, wa» totally destroyed by fire nt midnight last night. Nothing was saved.
