LODGE MEETINGS.
The Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1.0. G.T., held its usual weekly sci-ion in the l{eihabite Hall. liro. *H. J. Millar, C.T., C resided over a larue attendance of meniers und friends. The ollicers and members of the Trafalgar Lodge, U.M.S. Powerful, und vinitorn from various part.i of the Dominion were present, and brought greeliin? from both near and far. One candidate was readmitted. After routine businpp.s had Leon disposed of, the navel brethren contributed several items towards the evening's programme, which waa as follows :—Recitations, Bros. Dickon* , and Iwael ; songs, Bros. Rhodes, Baird, and Lawson. A hearty vote of thanks to performers and visitors wan carried by acclamation, and several visitors responded. Court Sir William Jervois, A.0.F., held the quartet ly summoned meeting in St. Thomas's School, Newtowh, on Tuesday night, C.R. Bro. J. H. Gilchrist presiding. A letter was received stating that the cribbagc tourney against the Oddfellows would be held in the Forest*! s' Hall. The mh rotary stated thivt the reduced enhance fees and altered contribution uouH vnme kilo force next month, thereby allowing young men to join tho order at reduced rates and still receive -th« full -benefits.
