At the Wellington Club's green yesterday a match was played. Banks and Law v. Insurance Companies, the former winning by 81 to 49. The scores of the rinks were : — Banks and Law — Tanner, Hamerton, Kane, Whittle (skip), 23; Insurance — Holmden, Pilcher, Nathan, Jamieson (skip), 22. Banks antd Law — Knox, Neilsen, Duguid, Mil ford (skip), 33 ; Insurance — Muir, Dixon, M'lntosh, and Stevens (skip) 12. Banks and Law — Arnold, Clark, Wylie, Treadwell (skip), 25; Insurance — Kinniburgh, Cray, Leslie, Pascoe (skip), 15. On the Wellington green a tournament was played yesterday 'between a number of rinks from the Civil Service. The departmental buildings defeated the outside offices by 255 to 203. The annual match between the Government Printing Office and the Post and Telegraph Department was played at the Kelburne green yesterday, the representatives of the latter department winning by 206 to 181.
