RESULTS ELSEWHERE.
(Bt TELEGRAPH. — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND. 16th March. The following were the successful candidates at to-day's election of the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board :— City, P. J.^Nerheny, P. M. Mackaj, J. S. Dickson, and V. J. H. Ellisdon ; combined boroughs of Mount Eden, Grey Lynn, Parnell, Newmarket, Onehunga, and Ellerslio town district, H. Schofield. E. IF. Potter, combined boioughs of Devonport, Birkenhead, and Northcote, Dr. WL G. Guinness; Waitemala, and Rodney counties and Helensville town district, F. Dye (unopposed) ; road districts of Eden county, M. J. Coyle and J. Jenkin (unopposed). The representatives of the Manukau county road district will be elected on 30t'i March. The voting was small in the city, the highest candidate receiving only 1030 votes out of a total of over 19,000 electors on the roll. CHRISTCHUUCH, 16th March. The election of seven members to lepresent the City of Christchurch on the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board resulted in the return of five out of seven of the people's Progressive ticket, including tinea ladies. The following were elected : — Mrs. Cunnington 1191, C. Allison 1158, Mrs. Wilson 99i, Mrs. Ensom 913, W. W. Tanner 885, Rev. W. J. L. Closs 793, T. Gapes 713. Messrs. Allison and Gapes were previously on the board. It is estimated that out of a total of 17,000 on the roll only 1400 voted. The Socialist candidate received the fewest votes. The election of one representative for Akaroa County Council resulted in Air. Murray (the old member) beating Dr. Thacker by 102 votes to 38. Mr. Colin Cook was elected to represent the combined boroughs of Lyttelton, Woolston, Sumner, and New Brighton. NELSON, 16th Marcu. At the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board election to-day, Messrs. Field and Lock, and Mesdames Fell and Watson were elected to represent the contributing district of Nelson and Richmond. v*ery little interest was taken, between 600 and 700 only, out of 3671 voting. GREYMOUTH. 16th March. Very little interest was taken . in the Hospital Board elections to-day, only about 120 electors taking the trouble to go to the poll in the borough.
