BENEVOLENT TRUSTEES.
A meeting was held this afternoon to elcofc six members ,to the Wellington Benevolent Trustees to represent the contributing bodies in the Wellington and Wairaxapa Charitable Aid District other than tho City Council. Councillor John Smith represents t-hc City Council, and the Rev. , W. A. Evans and Mr. David Robertson tho contributors on tho board. Tho election resulted in the following being reelected trust eeo: — Messrs. H. Cook (Karori), R. W. Short and J. Wakeham. {Petone), D. P. Loaaby (Groytovrn), A. W. Hogg, M.P. (Maeterton), and Mies Richmond (Wellington).
