The market has depended on supplies from Sydn,ey and Melbourne, while from Nolson, Hawkes Bay, and local districts, spring products are filtering in slowly. Oranges, mandarins, lemons, apricots, cherries, strawberries, and tomatoes all find buyers at extreme prices. Tho blight is having an effect on the supplies of new potatoes, and to-day they touched the high value of 15s per cwt, but this prico can only bo looked upon as tomporary.
