The Viceroy, Lord Minto, and Lady Minto, on whose lives an attempt ya& made by a Hindu bomb-thrower at Ahmedabad, have received messages of sympathy from all parts of the world. THE PROPOSED REFORMS. The Calcutta correspondent of The Times reports that the vernacular press condemns the councils scheme, and that the extremists are promoting a boycott of the reforms.
