At Adddngton live stock .market to-day, there was a lair entry of btibek and' a. largw attendance, including many farmers, who wero specially interested in the sale of fat lambs, in view of the opening of the freezing works oi/Mondaj-. Store Sheep. — Shorn wethers, in forward condition, made 10s 3d to 11s 6d, and one line, up to 13s ; halfbred wether hoggets, in tho woof, 13s 9d ; ewe hoggets, in th& wool, an extra good line, to 17s; good! crossbred ewes, in tho wool (mixed ages), 11s Id, all counted ; shorn ewes with lambs, 5s 9d to 8s ; aged woolly merino ewes with/ lambs, 5s lid; shorn two-tooth ewes, 12e lid; shorn four, six, and oight-tooth owes with lambs, 9s 9d, all counted. A line o£ forward wethers in the wool was passed a* 16s lid. Fat Lambs. — Only one exporter was ope« rating, aud he took a few good pensatl 13s 3d to 14s. Best lambs mad© 12s 6d to 15s, and lighter sorts 9s to 12s. Fat Sheep. — The range of prices was: — ■ Woolly wethors, 16s 9d to 22s 9d; prim« shorn wethers, 16s to 19s; Hxtra, to 21slighter, 13s 2d to 15s 6d ; woolly hoggots, 17s 6cl to 27s 6d ; shorn hoggets, 16s to 17s; woolly ewes, .16s to 20s 3d; prime shorn ewes, 14s to 16s lid ; other*, 12s to 13s 6d. Fat Ca,ttle.— Steers made £7 5s to £12heifers, £5 5b 6d to £7 12s 6d ; and cows £4 17s 6d to £7 ss. Tw6 large Shorthorn bullocks from the Waikato were passed at £15 10s and £14. Prices wero equal to Best, 21s 6d to 235; medium, 18s 6d to ?£U and cow and inf erior, 17s to 18s per 1001b. Veal calves sold at 4p 6d to 41s Store Cattle - Fifteen to eighteenmonths, 39s 6d to 42* -,- two-year steer*, £4 ; two-year heifers, £3 7s 6d ; three-year steer,, £5 13s 6d; three and four-ye^ steers,/ £6 13s 6d; three-year "heifers, £*■ ss; and dry cows, 30s to £3 13s.
