Owing to the mutilation of a. telegram received in Hokitika from Wellington, a wrong figure occurred in a Press Afsocialion telegram dispatched from here on Saturday night in connection with the formation of a company to work Fidde's and Baucke's claims in tho Wilberforee Valley. It was etaled that a largo sample of the ore assayed by the Mines Department gave a result of £4- 19s 4d per ton This should have read £44 19s 4d
