This morning the Governor opened the Marlborough A. and P. Association's Show, which, in every icspect, is the best ever held in the district. All the impoitant implement manufacturers of N?\v Zeacland aie exhibiting, and the Agricultural Department has an attractive display. The show of cereals is a. splendid one, and is a special feature. Lord Plunket also paid a visit to 1 the veterans' cricket match, which is attracting a great deal of interest. This afternoon the visiting bandsmen were welcomed at the garden party. In the evening the band Contest will commence, and tho A. and, P. .Association's banquet will be held. The Governor returns to Wellington to-night. .
