Arrangements are being completed for the jubilee celebrations to be held in the first week in November, commencing with a thanksgiving service on 31st October and including an agricultural show, band contest, old identities' banquet, children's fete, Sounds excursion, etc. Large crowds of visitors are expected, including the Governor, Ministers, and members of Parliament.
