VIOLENT SPEECHES. SOCIALISTS IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE. FERRER'S "MURDER" DENOUNCED.

KING EDWARD BLAMED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 18th October. At a meeting held in Trafalgar-square yesterday, -and attended by 8000 Social Democrats, a resolution was adopted denouncing the "murder" of Francisco Ferrer, the man executed as the instigator of the Barcelona riots. Among those present were Mr. J. A. O'Grady, Labour M.P. for East Leeds, Mr. H. M. Hyndraan, the well-known writer on Socialism, and the tounder of the newspaper Justice, Mr. Cunninghame Graham, and Mr. Victor Grayson, Socialist M.P. for Colne Valley Division of Yorkshire. Mr. Grayson, in a violent speech, advocated the taking of "a life for a life." He declared that "if the head of every King in Europe were torn from its trunk to-morrow ifc would not pay half the price of Ferrer's life. Ferrer's life lies at King Edward's door, because he did not use his influence with King Alfonso." The crowd marched in procession, singing the "Marseillaise," to the Spanish Embassy in Grosvenor Gardens, whence they groaned and hooted. There were some disturbances, and a further demonstration outside the Catholic Cathedral at Westminster.
