MUNICIPAL BAND CONCERTS.
A schedule of band concerts subsidised by the Wellington City Council has been issued from the municipal offices. It covers the dates from 10th October, 1909, to 29th September 1910. Amongst the localities set down as the sites xor band performances is Lyell Bay. The first concert for this locality is fixed for 9th December. Next Sunday's concert will be given at Island Bay, by the Newtown Band. On the following day (October 30th), the Garrison Band will play at Newtown Park.
