HAILSTORM.
[B* TELEGRAPH — PHESB ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTOHURCH, This Day. There was a rather heavy hailstorm last night, with heavy showers of rain at intervals. To-day the weather is very cold. Stealing a watch and chain, valued at £5, from tha person of John William Georgo Shelley, was tha charge on which Archibald M'Naughton appeared before the Stipendiary Magistrate this morning Accused was arrested in Dixonstreot Yesterday by Detectives' Cameron and Hammond, and while being conducted to the police station attempted to break away. He was remanded till next Wedineeday.
