MORE NEW THEATRES.
Recently it was announced that a local picture syndicate had made arrangements to build an up-to-date theatre in Courtena-y-phiee, and this was followed, by a statement that West's management were completing negotiations to erect four halls for the display of pictures in the lour centres of New Zealand. 'Now comes word from Auckland that Mr. Chas. Cooper, who may be considered one of the pioneers in fhe moving picture class ot entertainment in New Zealand, is also completing detail for the building of up-to-date '"Picture Palaces" in Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Mr. Ooope,^ is also said to have acquired the sole Australasian rights of a now and novel departure in the picture art.
