Lord Crewe, 'Secretary of State for the ■Colonies, opened the South African Union Conference at the "Foreign Office. The whole of the Act of Union was. read, clause by clause, the Imperial Government delegates Buggesling some 'minor amendments which were accepted. A discussion of the schedules relating to the native protectorates was adjourned.
