RISING IN PERSIA.
SHAH'S TROOPS AIDED BY ■RUSSIANS. ■ 4TTACK ON NATIONALIST POSITION. By Telegraph.—l'rcss Association.—Copyright. .LONDON, 12th July. Teheran advices state that one thousand two hundred of the Shah's troops, under three Russian officers, attacked the united forces of Bakhtiari tribesmen and other Nationalists at Badamok, twelve miles westward of Teheran. The rebel position was shelled for two hours with four guns ffrom under cover, while two hundred Persiin horsemen and Cossacks galloped across the.^plain and occupied a small hill to the north-east. The (Nationalists, who possessed two mountain guns, replied at intervals to the fire of tho Royalist force, and dropped four 6hells 011 to the hill, from which the Cossacks th6n retired, intending to renew operations next day.
