It is stated in Ottawa that should the contributors to the Pacific cable decide in favour of an Atlantic cable as part of the All-Red route, the Canadian Pacifio Railway Company is willing to permit Uie- use of its right-of-way from Halifax to Vancouver for a special wire for handling this business.
