A collision occurred at the railway station this morning between a goods train arriving from Pictou and a passenger train waiting to be despatched to fieddon. When the driver of the Seddon train saw that a collision was inevitable, he j moved his train .slowly off, thereby les- | sening the force of the impact. However, serious drmnge was done to both trains, the carriages, being badly smaphed. The front pFate of the Picton engine was stove in, and the guard over the cowcatcher torr off. There were several passengers in the Seddon train, including three ladies, one of whom — Mrs. Andrews, of Flaxbourne — was severely cut about the face. The other passengers escaped with bruises and shock.
