WOOL SALES.
PRICES WELL MAINTAINED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received 'May 19, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, 18th May. At the wool sales there were large offerings, chiefly of New Zealand. The best sorts were well maintained. For the United States top-making sorts were fully maintained ; intermediate kinds were a little more irregular. The Kotu clip sold for 10^d per lb. Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co. have received the following wool market cablegram from their -London House, Messrs. Sanderson, 'Murray and Co., dated 18th May : — "The fourth series of the London wool sales, opening on the 6th July, will be limited to 140,000 bales of new arrivals. The September and 'November series are not limited."
