SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
The Press Association advises us of the following results of School Committee elections : — To Horo — Messrs. M'lntosh (chairman), Best, Guy, Windley, Richards, Allen, Morgan, We&taway, and Thomas. Manakau — Messrs. Carroll (chairman and secretary), Hanlon, Heady, Newson, Winge, Morgan, and Andrew. Our Otaki correspondent writes: — Very little interest was &ho\vn in the election of a School Committee here last night, and only a dozen or so persons attended. The balance sheet showed a credit of £21 Bs, while the report was highly satisfactory. The following were elected officers for the ensuing term : — Messrs. J. R. Bills, jun. (chairman), Mark.Ayrc (secretary), C. H. Williams, \V. J. Row, W. Keegan, W. Bassett, and W. Warn.
