FIRE AT FEILDING.

ttiT TELEGRAPH. — MESS ASSOCIATION.] FEILDING, 25th March. A serious fire occurred about a mile from the town this afternoon, a dwelling house, the property of Mr. L. M. Horlocks, one of the best residences in the locality, being completely destroyed. Only the piano and a few articles of furniture were hayed. ' Tho fire originated in the wash-house, and a strong wind carried it through the house before it could be extinguished. The house was only fini&hed two months ago. Mr. Horrock's was married last month, and the losses include a collection of valuable wedding present?. The insurance on tho house, which cost over £1100, was £800. There was no insurance on the furniture.
