Dispute over a milk account was con- ' dUcted in the Civil Court yesterday before Mr. W. G. Rkldell, S.M. It was the adjourned case in which Josephine Hill and Thomas Hill claimed from Victor Maurice Braund the sum of £7 4s 4d for milk and cream alleged to have been delivered to defendant by plaintiffs. For the defence, it was stated that some of the goods charged for had not been delivered, that the charges made were more than the prices agreed upon, and that credit had not been given for moneys paid. Further evidence having yet to be taken, his Worship adjourned the case. A partneiship suit was heard in the case of H. Price and Co. v. George Robert Hosking. Last year plaintiffs obtained judgment for £75 7s lOd against Franklyn and Hosking, contractors, of Westpoil. The sum of £51 9s had since been paid a 1 * the proceeds of a distress warrant against the firm. Price and Co. now applied to have Hoskina declared a partnership in the firm, and to have judgment given against him for the balance of the debt and interest, amounting to £30.
