A LIGHT ON TERAWHITI.

MR MILLAR SAYS THERE IS NO NEED. (BT Tblegbafh.— Special to The Post.] RIVERTON, This Day. The Hon. J. A. Millar, Minister foxMarine, told your representative that he sees no necessity for an additional light on Terawbiti, as recommended by the Coroner's jury at the inquest on the victims of the Penguin disaster, nordoes he believe it is wanted by masters running in and out of Wellington. The Brothers and Pencarrow Point lights are sufficie.nt, and the light suggested might tempt masters, in abnormal weather, to take extra risks. Mr. Millar added : "Too many lights in the Straits would be as dangerous as too few."
