THE HIGH COMMISSIONER.

MR. HALL-JONES IN LONDON. By TeJecraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 14th January. The Hon. W. Hall-Jones, the new High Commissioner for New Zealand, has arrived in London. COMPLIMENTARY. TIMARU, 14th January. The Prime Minister has received the following cable message from tho Hon. W. P. Reeves, dated London, 13th January: — "On quitting the post I have had the pleasure to hold for the last thirteen years I desire to express my thanks to you for the uniform and special courtesy shown to me by you as Minister and Premier, and for the confidence you have beea good enough to place in my zeal and humble judgment. You have aided me in doing my work here with success, and I send my very good wishes." The Prime Minister replied as follows : " I much appreciate your kind farewell message. During your long tenure of office you have discharged the important and difficult duties attaching to your position with complete satisfaction to the Government. I desire to place on record the valuable assistance you have at all times rendered me. You have my sincerest good wishes for your future welfare in your new sphere." WHY is SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT superior to any other eucalyptus product? Because it is always safe, reliable, pnd effective. A death was recently reported from the internal use of one of the concoctions which are now palmed off aa "Extracts," and at an action at law a sworn witness testified that he suffered tho most cruel irritation from another, which was sold to him as "just as good as SANDER'S EXTRACT." Beware of such deception, and insist upon the GENUINE SANDER AND SONS' PURE VOLATILE EUCALYPTI EXTRACT.-Advt.
