ARTHUR ROBERTS INJURED. By Telegraph. — Press Association.— Copyright. (Received December 15, 8.22 a.m.) LONDON, 14th December. A hotel at Aberavon, in Wales, has been destroyed by fire. Arthur Roberts, the well-known comedian, who was staying in the house, was badly injured. Arthur Roberts has been a popular favourite in the Old Country for many years. Born in 1852, he made his first appearance at the London music-halls in 1873, and quickly came into prominence. Later he appeared in comic opera, and won much success in "The Old Guard," "Madame Favart," and other light works of the modern school.
